is it even gonna be a thing here? rn tho i mostly wanna know where to put my tentative lucario guy who may or may not even become real
For the lucario guy/guys, you should make a thread in group art. It counts even if you ultimately decide against it (you should make a thread and put all your different versions/experiments in it).
For non-group art in general, I’m not yet sure.
I want to organise the art thread with tags (things like “wip”, “help needed”, stuff like that to help flag topics). For non-group art, the options are:
- Make a non-group art tag (downside: it’s gonna be mixed in with group art, wich I feel meh about)
- Make a subcategory for non-group art (downside: that’s a lot, like a whole new space for something I don’t want to be too prominent)
- Put non-group art in general (downside: that doesn’t feel like its place)
Idk what’s best tbh, I’m open to opinions/suggestions.
I feel like we don’t need to complicate it too much! Making it a tag and having it combo could be nice for the case of non canon art. For example, say I’m drawing a character who’s completely unrelated, but I want to draw them interacting with a canon character for the sake of “it’s just fun to do”
That’d be a nice use of having both tags at the same time. I personally wouldn’t mind just seeing both tags on a piece for a character who may or may not become canon.
I’ve made a non-group art tag for now. Not made a group art one, bc the assumption is that’s the default. We’ll try that and see how it goes.
